*SAMPLERS

When I was much younger, before the ubiquity of television took over our leisure time, I had a set of tiny “Pocket Books”. Each book held one or two stories and fit neatly into my small shirt pocket. I would take one of the little hard bounds off the shelf, pop it in my pocket and head for the living room, where either the radio or record player would be warmly filling in the edges of the room’s otherwise quiet corners. That’s where I would sit on the thick, flower patterned rug, pull out my Pocket Book and read to myself.
Every book I sell has been created, printed, bound and delivered by me. As a self publisher, I lack the equipment to recreate those tiny story books of old as hard bound keepsakes, but it is my wish to pass along THIS idea to others-
Imagine the comfortable feeling of a small book laying flat in one hand with it’s sturdy card stock pages gathered together by a spiral spine binding. The words flowing as easy as streaming music, from the internet, or perhaps an iPod playing through earbuds. An hour invested absorbing a few of the tales about those who populated my generation -  INSIDE THE BOOM.
